Henry Ford Health is an integrated, not-for-profit health care organization in the U.S. state of Michigan.^[1] Headquartered in Detroit,^[4] Henry Ford Health is the second-largest health system in Michigan, operating 13 hospitals across the Detroit, Flint, and Jackson areas.^[5]Henry Ford established the health system in 1915, and it is currently run by a 15-member board of directors.^[6][1] Henry Ford Health also owns the health insurance company Health Alliance Plan.^[7]
