    Fernandus Lamar Vinson (born November 3, 1968) is an American former professional footballsafety who played four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL).

    He was selected by the Bengals in the seventh round of the 1991 NFL draft after playing college football at North Carolina State University.

    Early life and college

    Fernandus Lamar Vinson was born on November 3, 1968, in Montgomery, Alabama.[1] He attended George Washington Carver High School in Montgomery.[1]

    He was a four-year letterman for the North Carolina State Wolfpack from 1987 to 1990.[1] He was named second-team All-ACC by the Associated Press in both 1989 and 1990.[2][3]
